Part of Hamilton Heights Christian Academy’s mission is to provide a quality academic environment at an affordable tuition. HHCA has one of the lowest tuitions of any accredited school in the greater Chattanooga area. We pride ourselves on being a “small school alternative” to the mega public and private schools.
Tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year for local students is $7,000.00. A one-time, non-refundable Application fee of $100.00 is required when a student applies. Tuition can be paid on a 12-month basis at $583.33 per month or on a 10-month basis at $700.00 per month. If a student enrolls after June, the amount of monthly payments are prorated based on a monthly rate.
Military Discount
A 10% discount is available for students with a parent who is an active-duty or retired military member.
Multi-Student Discount
A 10% discount is available for the 2nd and 3rd child from the same family.
Tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year for international boarding students is listed below. Tuition payments can be made in a single installment or two installments. Deposits are non-refundable unless the school declines enrollment to an applicant.
A one-time, non-refundable Application fee of $100.00 is required when a student applies. An invoice for a $2000 refundable tuition deposit and shipping/postage fees will be sent to the student to cover the cost of sending their Acceptance Letter, SEVIS Form I-20, and new student information. Payment of these fees is required before documents are mailed to the student. We offer open enrollment. A student does not need to start at the beginning of the semester. If a student enrolls during the semester, their annual tuition and costs will be prorated.
New International Students – College Preparatory Track (includes: tuition, most meals, housing, airport pickup/drop-off, advising, and college preparation courses). Annual tuition is: $40,000.00 USD and is paid in one or two payments unless other arrangements have been made.
New International Students – College Preparatory Track – NO HOUSING (includes: tuition, advising, and college preparatory courses). DOES NOT include meals or housing. Annual tuition is: $20,000.00 USD and is paid in one payment unless other arrangements have been made.
New International Student – Student-Athlete Track (includes: tuition, most meals, housing, airport pickup/drop-off, advising) (Price MAY NOT include: uniforms, sports equipment, travel for competition). Annual tuition is: $30,000.00 USD and is paid in one or two payments unless other arrangements have been made.
Please Note:
Housing accommodations are either with U.S. host families or in dormitory-style housing. The student will have a shared bedroom and bathroom, use of normal facilities in the house, and Wi-Fi internet.
Applications for financial aid are submitted annually online after January 1st for the following school year. The application deadline is April 1st. Applications completed with the required documentation after April 1st are subject to funds availability. Families that do not qualify will be notified by mail within 30 days of the completed application. Applicants who qualify for assistance are notified by mail of the amount of financial assistance granted by May 15th. Volunteer hours are required for those who qualify for assistance. Financial aid is distributed according to the family’s chosen payment plan. It is not granted in a lump sum. Financial aid is a separate application process and the failure to be awarded financial aid is NOT grounds for reimbursement of any fees. Financial Aid awards only cover the student’s tuition and cannot be used toward the enrollment and activity fee, textbooks, lunches, uniforms, or other school expenses.
