Mr. Rick Levin
President of the Board

Mr. Levin is both a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. He has been an entrepreneur for over thirty-five years with business concerns both domestic and international. Several of these ventures have been schools and education centers.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Levin was baptized over thirty years ago and has been an active member of Calvary Chapel since then. He is an avid outdoorsman that enjoys hiking, backpacking, and alpine climbing. He has been a Boy Scout leader for close to four decades and served in the U.S. Army.

Ms. Chun Shen
Board Member and HHCA Comptroller

Ms. Shen, born and raised in China, originally came to the U.S. more than 25 years ago on a student visa after earning her Bachelor’s degree. Ms. Shen was a nationally ranked athlete who competed domestically and internationally for China before becoming a track and field coach for their National Team.

Ms. Shen earned her Master’s degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, where she nearing completion of her PhD. She has been married for 22 years, has one son serving in the U.S. Air Force (Aerospace Medicine) and the younger one is a university student.

While working on her Master’s degree, she began taking Bible study classes and after getting married was baptized.

Mr. George Linden
Board Member

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and grew up in the Methodist church. After graduating trade school I worked for Mars, Inc., for 32 years in different capacities. I retired in 2008 as the director of HR for snack food manufacturing.

After retirement from Mars I was a founding partner in two start-up companies, TruMedical Solutions, and HLO Holdings and I remain active in both as a board member.

I attended Ooltewah UMC and teach children’s Sunday School. I have participated in mission work locally, nationally, and internationally. I mentor several young entrepreneurs on their businesses and living a Christian life.

My wife and I have been together for 47 years and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Our youngest daughter graduated from HHCA in 2013 and we have hosted 5 students (from 2012 – 2018).

Mr. Reginald Andrews, PharmD

Dr. Andrews is a 2001 graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. A clinically trained Pharmacist, entrepreneur, and Christian, Dr. Andrews’ faith and love for people aligns him with the HHCA mission. He is a husband to Krishna Andrews of more than 22 years, a father of three amazing young men, Dylan, Camden, and Bryson, and has served within his local church in various capacities from assistant to the Senior Pastor to Board of Directors VP for many years. He and his family are recent transplants into the Chattanooga community and are committed supporters of HHCA as two of their children currently attend the school. His impact within our organization is promising as we forecast academic expansion, even greater diversity amongst our leadership talent, and our overall goals in ministry

Rev. Walter Robert Gilbert Jr. (Robert)

In July 2022 will have been married 50 years, they have four married children and 10 grandchildren.
Fluent in Spanish and presently Coordinator of Spanish training for Precept, Hispanic Director for Eastern Tennessee district of the Church of the Nazarene, also translates and record in Spanish one minute radio programs for John Ankerberg Show.
Holds ordination credentials with the International Fellowship of Bible Churches, Inc. and served as field director in Guatemala for twenty years. He started his ministry in 1975 pastoring a rural church in north central Kanas before moving to Guatemala. Served 9 years at Christian Academy of Guatemala as Operations Director, taught Middle school math, Coached High School men and women basketball, PE instructor, Remedial math, and 9th and 11th grade Bible classes.

Mr. Eric Johnson, Senior Pastor
Chattanooga First Church of the Nazarene

Pastor Johnson holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Religion from Olivet Nazarene University. He has served in full-time ministry since 1994. Eric loves sharing the good news of a God who not only forgives sin but who helps us with every aspect of life. If we let him, God will heal our hurts and direct our steps and strengthen our hearts so we can experience the kind of life we were created to live.
