At Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (HHCA), our educational approach and content inspires and engages students and faculty alike. We are a truly unique place with exceptional teachers, classes with no “back row,” and students who are encouraged to be independent thinkers and pursue their passions.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

All Items are required and must be completed before requesting an interview.

1.  Submit an Application. Please have Credit Card or Debit Card information ready.  Once the application has been processed by our office, a Checklist will be used to track the receipt of the Required Documents.

2.  Required Documents should be scanned and emailed/uploaded in a PDF format if possible.   If using a camera phone to take pictures of documents, please ensure that they are high resolution (Not thumbnails) when you send them. JPEGs will be declined if the image is indecipherable. If you do not have access to a scanner, please fax the documents to our admissions office. 

3.  Progress Reports/Report Cards/Transcripts Applicants are now required to submit a transcript OR report card that lists grades from the past 2 years for new high school students and complete highs school transcripts for transfer students.

4.  Immunization Records need to be official with dates for all required and current immunizations listed below:

  • DPT-DtaP-DT-DTP/Hib-TD
  • Tdap or Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis booster
  • (Polio (OPV/IPV)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis-B
  • Hepatitis-A
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)

Please Note:  

  • We understand that some international students may not have the ability to easily obtain these vaccinations in their home countries. If so, students must pass a medical exam when they arrive in the US and begin receiving the missing vaccinations.  Parents and or guardians will be responsible for the medical exam and vaccination costs.
  • Medical Exemptions— a healthcare provider must indicate the exemptions on official letterhead.
  • Religious Exemptions—a statement by the parent stating vaccinations are against their religious beliefs.
  1. Teacher and Administrative Recommendation Forms will be sent via email from HHCA to a current or former Teacher and Administrative official. Please have their names, titles, phone number and email addresses available for the Admissions Application. Teacher should be a core subject teacher and Administrative can come from a principal, assistant principal, or counselor.
  2.  International (F1 Visa) Students in addition to the documents above, the following items need to be sent and received by the school.
    • Copy of your Passport page showing your picture, name, date of birth and passport number.
    • Copy of your most recent USA Visa, if you have one.
    • Copy of your most recent USCIS Form I-20, if you have one.
    • Proof of Financial Ability issued within the last 30 days in the form of a bank statement and or certificate of deposit). This document can be issued by a foreign bank.
    • If the student plans to live with family or friends in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the school will need their names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
  3. Interviews cannot be scheduled until all required documents are processed. Interviews are approximately twenty minutes long and the applicant must be present.  In-person interviews or applications such as Skype, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc. can be used for the interviews.  Interviews are conducted Monday through Friday, on U.S. East Coast time zone.
